About Me
Kenna McKenzie Cook
The studio's lead designer, Kenna McKenzie Cook, received a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Interior Design from San Diego State University in 1995. Her initial professional experience was as a designer for a large model home design firm in San Diego. In 1997 she began her own firm—McKenzie Designs. Her first project was leading the design on a large private school in Northern California, Sonoma Country Day School, as well as working on private custom homes in Indian Wells. In 2001, she moved to the Coachella Valley to be closer to the clients that kept coming her way. She has since worked on creating people's dream homes in the desert for 25 years.
Kenna and I have worked together on several projects which has been nothing short of successful. Kenna communicates so well and is always on time and on budget!
